Mechanical ventilator 3-4 stand switch

Hello,

Sorry that my Dutch is not good and I have to write in English.

I moved to a new apartment and have a problem with the ventilation system. It is said that the ventilation system has a motor in the roof and it is connected to drains in the kitchen extractor and in the bathroom. The problem is the ventilator is always on in the full speed with a lot of noise and I can't adjust the speed or stop it. However, when I turn the related fuse group in the electricity board ventilator shuts down including other kitchen appliances.

There is a classical on-off button switch in the kitchen which supposed to be responsible for it but it doesn't function at all. I'm also sending the picture of wiring of the current switch below.

What I'm think is to replace it with 3 stand (0-1-2 or 1-2-3) or 4 stand (0-1-2-3) ventilator switch so I can control the speed or turn it off. As far as I searched, 3-4 stand switches require 1 brown and 2/3 black wires. However as you can also see in the picture i have 1 brown, 1 black, 1 blue and 1 green/yellow (earth) wire.

My questions are;
1) Is it possible to use ventilator switches with my current wires and how should I connect to a 3 or 4 stand switch. (let's say to 3 stand Schneider ventilator switch in Gamma
Is it possible to use 0-1-2 or 0-1-2-3 stand switches to be able to turn it off; or should it be always on and 1-2-3 switch is the only possibility.

The level of my electricity is also very little so sorry if I sound dumb at all :)

Thanks,
Cem

In the current configuration a 3 of 4 stand switch is not possible.
You only have one black wire, en also it is dependent of the ventilation unit or ventilator.

In your case, what happens if you detach the black wire from the switch?

Other question:
Is the ventilator in use for more than one apartment?

If not so, it might be possible to use a fan motor regulator.
There are types you can build into a standard wall box.

Ford the show switch control the fan in on/off?

If so give info about the connected fan, maybe you could use a fan controller.

Thanks a lot for your response Ronny.

When I detach the black wire nothing changes, it continues to function as before. Interestingly when I also detach the brown one it also functions. Thus when no cable is connected to switch at all, ventilation still functions.

Each apartment has its own controller and when I shut my electricity group down, my ventilator stops working. When I talked to my neighbor, he mentioned that he has a rotary controller in his kitchen at the same place and it works for him.

Can you send me a link of a sample fan motor regulator if it is possible?

Actually I'm even fine for on/off function if speed adjustment is not possible, since the noise is really disturbing.

Thanks a lot,
Cem

Hereby just an sample of a fan controller:
Sample.

But, if the black wire is detached from the switch you cannot just remove the swich and install the regulator.
You should inspect the ventilator because it still works without the switch.
Unfortunately there must be something wrong, or you have a second switch somewhere else.
(bathroom?)

Yes indeed, it looks like something is wrong with the ventilation switch. Bathroom only has a light dimmer but I'll try to find another switch in somewhere else. Thanks a lot for your comments.
