Hello everyone,
I need to update my meterkast from 1x35Amp to 3x25Amp so from 1 phase to 3 phase due to the installation of the new heatpump.
1 step was to renew the groepenkast according to the 3 phase breakers and the new groups.
2 step I need to update the cabinet where the meterkast is installed, this box is made with gipsplaat in the middle of the wall
3 step is to request Enexis to inspect the "work" and to schedule an appointment for them to change the main line.
I have a question about the new rules regarding the size requirements for the meterkast cabinet. The issue is that I am unable to build a cabinet of the required size in that location as it is too big. The cabinet box only contains the groepenkast without any other connections such as water or gas, which are located elsewhere. These connections were not changed by me and are original from when the house was built in 1935.
I read on other websites that these rules apply for the new built houses and some deviations depend on the house like mine.
What are your opinions about this?
