Hi there, really sorry for writing in English but I'm a Norwegian living In the Netherlands for just some months.

So have a problem with a cooking plate. It has a perilex plug on it wich I'm not used to back home. It says 2x230 volt on the plug, but when I talked to my electrician about it he said I needed krachtstroom. So since we needed a new meterkast anyway we got 3 of those groups. Anyway when they came and hooked it up the fuse blew everytime, so I'm wondering if any of you know how we can hook this thing up? Was thinking after they left. Isn't krachtstroom 400volt?

Perilex isn't standardized. With most cooking hobs you'll find there are different wiring diagrams indicated.

For example:

These diagrams are usually printed in the installation manual or on the bottom of the hob.

You will need to adjust the wiring to your specific situation. Never plug in the Perilex plug without checking this first, this could damage the hob.

This is what's behind ours. But I'm not sure how to hook it up or if it's still usable on krachtstroom or not, 3fase usually is 400v between poles right?

You can use the 3th diagram, using 2 out of 3 phases. But you still need to check the wiring.

But how would i connect it as you said?

It is a bridge between Brown and blue so should be wired after the 3rd diagram, so it's using 2 of the 3 phases?

You need to rewire the plug, so that the blue wire is in the same location as in the socket. At the side of the cooker, you need to disconnect the brown wire and isolate it, using a connector block.

Then place a bridge between 3 and 4. If you do not have the copper bridge, which was delivered with the cooker, better call an electrician.

Can we asume the blue wire is connected to this pole?

As stated you need to use the 3rd schematic. Pole 1 and two need to be connected to a phase, you can leave them as they are (although they aren't connected to L1 and L2, but to L3 and L2, that doesn't make much of a difference).

Pole 3 and 4 both need to be connected to neutral.

Just take out the brown wire and isolate it with a splicing connector or terminal block. The rest of it should be fine, pole 3 and 4 are already connected together on the other side of the terminal block.

I did not notice that. This makes it easier.

Good to hear!

I hope you didn't pay to get it installed, then they should have done this for you.

Nah we had ordered a new meterkast and a kable to the kitchen. We are renovating so we only need this cookplate for a year or two . So didn't pay them to hook it up really. Altho they tried a short time
