Hello,
Apologies for english, (your just experts in your own home construction and Dutch housing norms)
So we recently had our central heating boiler replaced and im just curious to know if any potential asbestos risk occurred. The plumbers did quite a quick job but left a lot of debris and plaster that my partner vacuumed up whilst I was at work. The previous central heating boiler was from 2004, Attached our the photos of there new work. They also replaced the chimney upto the roof and reformatted the exit pipe upto the chimney with a new manifold and series of screws. See also attached a screw that is jutting out from the side of our roof.
I suppose my question is, given that the old boiler was installed in 04 is any asbestos concerns remote due to the time of previous installation. Ive knocked above where the chimney was installed and it sounds like hollow plaster, though the screw coming out the side sounds like solid foundations. Ive also attached the aftermath of the clear up, even though its not the clearest photo.
To help clearing up i vacuumed and mopped again then disposed of the vacuum bag outside.
In another post I previously asked about the remote likelihood of the plaster having asbestos in, differentiating to the UK it sounds like it wasn't just mixed in for fun here like it was back home. This question deviates due to the nature of where the drilling and the normalcy of asbestos sometimes being near boilers.
Thanks for your help
