My partner and I are soon entering a new, empty and big (45 m2) studio flat.
Since we enjoy hosting friends from overseas, we would like to create a separation between our bed room and a living room where our guests can stay.
I was thinking of installing a kind of folding separation along the dotted lines as pictured in this floorplan:
The bedroom would be on the left, near the windows, and the living/guest room on the right.
I was thinking of having a stationary, wooden or plaster separation where the horizontal dotted line at the bottom is. Where the vertical, long line is I was planning to install a separation which would be open during the day to allow outside light to enter the apartment, and closed at night for privacy.
Do you have any ideas for solutions for such a partition?
Is there any doe het zelf solution that might work, or should we opt for a commercial solution?
And if the second, are you familiar with any good and affordable options?
