Hi, i think something between the drum is blocking it turning.
You can remove the heater from the back and have a look inside the machine, sometimes a small clothingpart like a sock is between the drum and the outside.
Another possible thing is that the arms of the washingdrum is broken, you can check that by trying to uplift the drum at the front. If so, better go shopping today.

I have replaced the belt, but it is now making a bad noise when the drum rotates, i think the bearings need to be replaced? what parts will i need to purchase from the shop and also do you know where i can find a drawing/instructions on replacing the bearings?

Please continue in the topic you started.

If the outside of the waterdrum is made of polycarbonate, it will be very hard to replace the bearrings, the outside drum must be splitted and is a tough job to replace it all and make it again waterproof.
If the machine is older then 7 years and/or much used ( 5 or more each week), is my advice to better buy a new one as this will be very hard to fix.
I know many colleges and none will advice this to do, that is IF this machine has a NONMETAL outside drum.
